Local residents support maintaining affordable education
An independent community survey commissioned by the Foothill-De Anza Community College
District shows that residents highly rate the job performance of Foothill and De Anza
colleges and support efforts to maintain affordability for local students preparing
to enter the workforce and to transfer to four-year universities. Unique challenges
faced by local students today – including food insecurity, hunger and homelessness
– were identified as top priorities needing attention and support at this time.
