Dear Foothill-De Anza Community, 

 

Canvas service is beginning to be restored nationwide. However, out of an abundance of caution, the California Community Colleges are taking a thoughtful approach before returning to normal instructional use. 
 

Current Status at Foothill-De Anza Community College District 

Our security team has determined it is not yet safe to resume access to Canvas across the district.  

 

We are working as quickly as we can to conduct a thorough security review and to confirm the safety of the platform with Instructure. We will restore access once due diligence has been completed to ensure no additional vulnerabilities.
