Dear Colleagues: 

In honor of Classified Employee Appreciation Week, I would like to personally thank the classified professionals of Foothill-De Anza for the essential role each of you play in the district’s mission of student success and educational excellence.  

While I hope everyone at the district takes time to appreciate the work of our classified professionals on a daily basis, I ask that you please join me this Classified Employee Appreciation Week in making a special effort to express your gratitude to those who have helped you or your students during your time at Foothill-De Anza.

More than 500 classified employees work across the district and provide expertise in a variety of critical areas, including financial aid and enrollment assistance, instructional and administrative support, compliance with state and federal regulations and fiscal standards, access to high quality benefits, essential classroom and office equipment and technology, safe and attractive grounds and facilities, and so much more.

I want all of our classified professionals to know that we couldn’t do this work without you. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to Foothill-De Anza.
