OVERVIEW

District Opening Day 2021 has been designed as a peer-to-peer learning experience that will draw on the tremendous expertise and talent of our faculty and staff. Because most of our opening day presenters are colleagues who remain accessible to you as an internal network, we hope the day's learning will provide you with the added benefit of connections that will help to support and reinforce innovation over the long term.
 
Following a brief welcome in the morning, you will have the opportunity to select from a variety of learning experiences presented in one or two-hour sessions. Workshops have bee​n organized into four strands (Equity, Guided Pathways, COVID Awareness, and General Interest), but you are free to attend any combination of workshops throughout the day. Information on registering for the sessions was sent to all district employees by email, MyPortal message, and calendar invitation.
