Martha J. Kanter, Ed.D., assumed the position of chancellor of the district on July 1. She was named to the position by the board of trustees following a six-month national search. "I am thrilled to accept the privilege of serving as the fifth chancellor of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District," Kanter said. "In the months and years ahead, my vision, leadership and stewardship of our district will be devoted to moving us forward to new levels of excellence in four areas: opportunity, equity, accountability and sustainability."
