Cabrillo is a comprehensive community college with a credit enrollment of more than 17,000 students. In addition to its main campus, it operates satellite locations in Watsonville and Scotts Valley. Cabrillo has completed or has underway more than $250 million in capital improvement projects made possible by voter-approved bond measures. The district encompasses most of Santa Cruz County.

Rio Salado College serves approximately 48,000 credit and 12,000 non-credit students a year.
