[November 1, 2003] Kanter and Foothill-De Anza Trustee Paul Fong represented the district at the Chinese Historical and Cultural Project "Shanghai 1930s" gala, held at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel. Featured in this picture are Fong, Monta Vista High School principal Betty Pow, Gala Chair Gerrye Wong, Assembly Member Sally Lieber of the 22nd Assembly District, Cupertino city council member and former Mayor Richard Lowenthal and Kanter.
