Mission
To serve as the institutional memory of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District by appraising, collecting, preserving, organizing, and describing records and documents of significant historical, legal and administrative value to the District and its two colleges. To develop practical application for the collections of the Archives and make records and documents accessible to administrators, faculty, staff, students and the community at large.
Description of the Collection
The Archive collection consists of historical documents of the foundation of the district and its two campuses, including the complete architectural records of Kump, Masten and Hurd for both colleges. There are special collections of photographs, catalogs and schedules and biographical information on faculty and staff.
The collections do not circulate outside the building, but the public is welcome to use the documents. Photcopying services are available.
